Rev. Moore  has served in pastoral positions since 1986.  He was called to serve as the senior pastor of the Union Missionary Baptist Church, Dover, DE in January of 1991.  While serving here as a full time congregational pastor he has also been privileged to assist on the boards of several civic organizations and with various educational institutions in the Dover community.  Pastor Moore's dedicated hard work in support of these organizations has lead to him being honored by several of them.

These include the Kent County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Community Legal Aid Society of Delaware, the Kent County Branch of the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware, the Psi Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Men's Basketball Program at Delaware State University.  He was appointed to serve as the Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee for the Central Delaware Branch of the NAACP  on two different occassions for a total of 10 years.  Rev. Moore is also proud to acknowledge that he is a Life Member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Moore was awarded the Doctor of Ministry Degree  in 2003.  He was also the recipient of the honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree in 1992 and the honorary Doctor of Laws Degree in 1996.

Rev. Moore is the middle child of three sons born in Chicago, Illinois to the Reverend Reedie G. Moore, Sr., formerly of Batesville, Mississippi and current pastor of the Calvary Temple Baptist Church on 44th and Princeton.  His mother, Mrs. Lola Ray Robinson-Moore, a native daughter of San Angelo, Texas, is deceased.  Rev. Moore's older brother, Dr. Richard G. Moore, is the pastor of the Holy Unity Baptist Ministries in Jamaica, NY.

Rev. Moore is blessed to be married to Iwana LaTresha Smith-Moore, who is a Senior Fiscal Administrative Officer in the Office of Financial Services for the State of Delaware.  She is also a spiritually gifted licensed minister assoicated with the Union Church.

Rev. Moore’s “life theme” can be found in Philipians 1:6, “Be confident of this very thing: that He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

The truth of this text as a personal testimony is in the power of God's presence in Rev. Moore's ministry. The Lord has not only opened many doors to ministry for Rev. Moore, but He has also continued to be a blessing to many others through this ministry. People of all ages are making new and renewed commitments to God through the gifted preaching and teaching of Rev. Moore and the ministers he has influenced over the years.

This continues to be an exciting ministry of which to be a part. The invitation to those in this area is open. To those in distant lands, we solicit your prayers.
